Cowboy Golf Team Sets Sights on Ping Collegiate

The second-ranked Oklahoma State men's golf team competes Saturday and Sunday in the prestigious Ping Intercollegiate at MacGregor Downs in Cary, N.C.

Each team in the 12-team field is ranked among the nation's top 50, and seven schools -- top-ranked UNLV, No. 2 OSU, No. 3 TCU, No. 4 Clemson, No. 6 North Carolina, No. 8 Arizona and No. 10 Wake Forest -- are top-10 caliber.

TCU's Alberto Ochoa, ranked second individually, and OSU's fourth-ranked Bo Van Pelt head up the individual field.

OSU has finished in the top five in the Ping Intercollegiate for each of the past five years and won it in 1994. OSU finished fifth in 1996, with Wake Forest taking home the title.
