Cowboy Baseball Recruiting Class Ranked No. 22
April 15, 2003 | Cowboy Baseball
The Cowboys' class is comprised of 18 newcomers including 14 junior college transfers and four freshmen.
"We addressed the loss of the experienced performers from last year's team, due to graduation or the baseball draft, by adding experienced junior college performers who will be able to come in and contribute immediately," stated assistant coach Josh Holliday. "We think this class will combine with our developing returners to form a solid nucleus by the time we open the season in February."
OSU's class was the third best in the Big 12 behind defending national champion Texas at No. 6 and Baylor at No. 13. College World Series participant Nebraska was just below the Pokes at No. 23 to close out the conference schools in the poll.
