OSU Career: Vasileva will switch to the multi events this spring ... she competed in indoor track in 2002 running in the 800-meter run with her best time being 2:11 in that event ... she used her redshirt in the outdoor season ... Vasileva competed for the cross country team in 2001 ... she ran in the two-mile meets with her best time being 13:16. High School: Vasileva was the Bulgarian national champion in the 5k in 1998 and the 2k in 1999 ... she finished third in the Idaho state championship and first in 10k German meet. Personal: Born on November 10, 1983 ... majoring in journalism ... she is also interested in other cultures ... Svetlana is the only child of Dora Ilieva and Nedko Vasileva.
