Cowboys move up one spot in latest MasterCard Golf Rankings

Additionally, sophomore Landry Mahan and senior Bo Van Pelt, who both tied for third at last week's ASU Thunderbird/SAVANE Invitational, made substantial moves in the individual rankings.
Mahan entered the top 100 for the first time in his career, checking in at No. 84, and Van Pelt moved up 17 spots to 33rd nationally. Sophomore Edward Loar dropped four spots but is still ranked 10th, while freshman Charles Howell fell two spots to No. 21.
The Cowboys are preparing this week for the Big 12 Championship, which will be contested Monday and Tuesday in Hutchinson, Kan. The Cowboys won the inaugural Big 12 title last season and won the last four Big Eight titles. In all, OSU has won conference titles in 37 of the past 40 years.
