Cowboy Golfers Set for ESPN-Televised U.S. Collegiate

The tournament begins with a single 18-hole round Friday; both Saturday's second round and Sunday's final stanza will be televised live on ESPN. Second-round coverage runs 1-3 p.m. CST on Saturday, and the final round will air from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. CDT on Sunday.
The tournament's 12-team field includes eight teams ranked among the nation's top 50 in the latest MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings. In addition to OSU, No. 2 UNLV and No. 8 Arizona State headline the competing teams.
OSU's fourth-ranked Charles Howell and seventh-ranked Edward Loar top an individual cast that includes seven of the top 25 collegiate golfers. Howell finished second in last year's tournament; the Cowboys were runners-up as a team as well.
The event will take place at the Quarry Course in Black Diamond Ranch, a private golf and country club community in Lecanto. The course is rated No. 17 in Golfweek's latest top 100.
