Shelton, Jensen Win Individual Titles at Oklahoma Open

Oklahoma State's wrestling team had eight wrestlers place at the annual Oklahoma Open in Norman, Okla., over Thanksgiving weekend.

Kyle Shelton and Jack Jensen captured individual titles at 149 and 184 pounds, respectively. It was Shelton's first tournament win of the year, and Jensen's second. Shelton defeated Oklahoma's Jeff Ecklof, while Jensen dropped Mark Wall of Missouri.

Ethan Kyle finished second after falling to OU's Sam Hazewinkle, 10-2, in the finals, and Eric Dabbs recorded a second-place finish after dropping an 11-5 decision to Charles Jones of OU.

Daniel Frishkorn, Brent Parkey, Michael Christian and John Vestal all finished third.
