Cowboy Golf Finishes Fourth At Match Play Championship

The seventh-seeded Cowboys picked up wins at the Nos. 1 and two positions, getting a 2 and 1 victory from sophomore Zack Robinson and a 1-up win from freshman Tyler Leon.
The fifth-seeded Yellow Jackets squared the match with Thomas Jordan's 1-up win over OSU sophomore Chris Clarke and Chan Wongluekiet's 2 and 1 triumph over Cowboy junior Dayton Rose.
At the No. 5 spot, Tech's Michael Barbosa clinched the team victory, claiming the first playoff hole after Zac Reynolds knotted the match on the final hole in regulation.
The tournament concluded the fall slate for the Cowboys, who will return to action on Feb. 8 at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate.
