Cowgirls Compete in Cowboy Jamboree

Senior Catherine Clifford was the top finisher for the Cowgirls. The Plano, Texas native finished 58th with a time of 23:16. Junior Lisa Bowles was the second Cowgirl to cross the finish with a time of 24:52.
Texas Tech took home first place in the team competition with Georgia coming in second. Southern Methodist's Rachel Collins and Karin Van Rooyen took home the first and second place honors in the individual results.
The Cowgirls will return to action when they head to Auburn, Ala. to compete in the Auburn Invitational.
