Cowgirl Soccer Falls to No. 15 Nebraska

The Cowgirls fall to 11-2-2 overall and 3-2-2 in conference play while Nebraska improves to 10-3-1 overall and 5-1-0 in league contests.
Nebraska jumped out to a 2-0 lead but the Cowgirls fought back in the final minutes of the first period.
The Huskers struck first at the 16:17 mark on a goal from Ashley Carter and upped their lead on a Pam Karakusis goal 15 minutes later.
Jolene Schweitzer found the back of the net twice in the final four minutes of the first half to send the Cowgirls and Huskers into intermission tied at 2-2.
Schweitzer's first tally came in the 42nd minute of the contest on an assist from Adriane Radtke. The junior followed with her 12th goal of the season less than three minutes later to even the score.
Neither team was able to break through the opposing defense until Nebraska's Jessie Bruch snuck one past Cowgirl goalkeeper Kathrin Lehmann at the 89:55 mark.
Lehmann had a personal-best 12 saves in the contest for the Cowgirls while Brooke Bradenberg had eight for the Huskers.
Oklahoma State returns to action on Sunday at 1 p.m. against No. 11 Colorado in Boulder.
