The Cowboys, who are coming off a 16th-place finish at the 2002 NCAA Championship, will be led by 2002 U.S. Amateur finalist and first-team All-American Hunter Mahan. The junior from McKinney, Texas, posted three wins last season on his way to being named the Big 12 Player of the Year.
Two-time honorable mention All-American P?r Nilsson will also be in the OSU starting five. The junior from Ljungsbro, Sweden returns to the lineup after finishing strong last season with three top-10s in the squad's final six events.
Alex Nor?n, a native of Stockholm, Sweden, will be making his 10th career start and is coming off a season that saw the sophomore post one top 10 in his inaugural campaign for the Cowboys.
A pair of players, redshirt freshman Zack Robinson and true freshman Chris Clarke, round out the OSU lineup and will be making their collegiate debuts.
Robinson, a native of Ft. Worth, Texas, was a semifinalist at the 2000 U.S. Junior Amateur, while Clarke, a native of Rotherham, England, finished third at the 2001 British Boys Championship.
