Oklahoma State's 2002 football squad wraps up two-a-day workouts Saturday when the Cowboys go under the lights of Lewis Field for a practice that will include live scrimmage.
The workout is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., and is open to the public, free of charge. Fans planning to attend the scrimmage should be aware that inclement weather could cause rescheduling or cancellation.
The Saturday night scrimmage is exactly two weeks in front of OSU's 2002 season opener at Shreveport against Louisiana Tech. The scrimmage is also the culmination of nine days of twice-daily workouts since the entire squad reported on Aug. 6.
O-State prepared for Saturday's scrimmage with a pair of workouts on Friday. The Cowboys spent two hours on Lewis Field Friday morning in a full pad session and were scheduled for a similar workout Friday afternoon.
Friday morning's workout was a spirited session that featured live goal line work. "This was one of the better workouts of the preseason," said Head Coach Les Miles
