Krista Dedmon Selected to Region III Soccer Squad

STILLWATER, Okla. - Krista Dedmon, a sophomore-to-be on the Oklahoma State Cowgirl soccer team, was recently selected to the Region III amateur soccer squad.
The Chickasha, Okla., native was chosen after her play as a member of the Oklahoma Select team that competed in the United States Amateur Soccer Association regional tournament in Dallas, Texas on June 8-9. With her selection, Dedmon became the first Oklahoma representative to receive the distinction in three years.
"This is a great honor for Krista to be selected from such a deep pool of quality players," Cowgirl assistant coach Colin Carmichael said.
The Region III team will compete this August at the United States Sports Festival in Houston, Texas.
