Women's Tennis Defeats Cornhuskers

Oklahoma State's women's tennis team defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 6-1, on Saturday at the Debois Tennis Center in Stillwater, Okla. to improve to 9-8 (3-4 Big 12) on the season.
The Cowgirls jumped to a 1-0 lead after winning two of three doubles matches.
The No. 10 ranked duo of junior Linda Faltynkova and sophomore Katia Kolodynska captured their fifth straight win at the No. 1 doubles spot. The duo defeated Katarina Balan and Amy Frisch, 8-5.
The Cowgirls secured the victory by winning five of six singles matches.
Senior Dominika Olszewska outlasted Balan in a three set match at No. 1 singles, 6-4,3-6,10-4.
At No. 2 singles Faltynkova defeated Leslie Harvey, 6-0, 6-0. Faltynkova has shut out her last two opponents, winning by a combined score of 24-0.
Junior Kate Vasylyeva defeated Frisch, 6-3,6-3, at No. 3 singles to improve to 12-4 on the season. Kolodynska defeated Rose Ketmayura, 6-7,(3), 7-5, 12-10, at No. 4 singles.
Marsic defeated Anna Aehme in straight sets, 6-4,6-2, at No. 6 singles.
The Cowgirls will return to action on Sunday when they host Tulane.
