Cowgirl Soccer Ends Weekend Unbeaten

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's soccer team continued its impressive defensive play on Saturday, tying Tulsa, 0-0, and defeating Oral Roberts, 2-0, at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex.
With the two shutouts, OSU has not allowed a goal in five full games this spring.
Against the Golden Hurricane, the Cowgirls owned a 9-4 shot advantage, but managed only three shots on goal. However, the OSU defense held TU to one shot on net.
The Cowgirls turned up the offensive pressure in their second game of the day, outshooting the Golden Eagles 20-6.
The two teams entered the halftime locker room in a scoreless tie before OSU freshman Carla Dolomont broke the deadlock at the 51:51 mark, rocketing a shot into the corner of the net.
Fourteen minutes later, Jere Boykin added a tally of her own to seal the outcome. The sophomore took a cross from freshman Courtney Robb and slipped a shot through the ORU defense to provide the final margin.
The Cowgirls will return to action next weekend when they travel to Fayetteville, Ark., to take on Arkansas and Southwest Missouri State.
