Three Cowboy Golfers Named to Academic All-Big 12 Squad

DALLAS, Texas - Oklahoma State had three players named to the 2002 Men's Golf Academic All-Big 12 Team it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Senior Anders Hultman, junior J.C. DeLeon and sophomore P?r Nilsson were all tabbed as first-team selections for maintaining a 3.2 or better grade-point average.
Hultman, a first-team All-American and the Big 12 Player of the Year last season, was named to the team for the third consecutive season. The Gothenburg, Sweden, native was also a first-team pick last season after earning honorable mention honors as a sophomore.
DeLeon, a Tulsa, Okla., native, is a two-time selection, earning first-team plaudits twice, while Nilsson's selection was the first of the Ljungsbro, Sweden, native's career.
The Cowboys will return to action on April 29-30 when they travel to Hutchinson, Kan., for the Big 12 Championships at Prairie Dunes Golf and Country Club.
