Cowboy Track Competes at the John McDonnell Invitational

Fayetteville, Ark. - Oklahoma State's men's outdoor track and field team competed at the John McDonnell Invitational over the weekend in Fayetteville, Ark.
Ben Sigle recorded the highest finish of the day for the Pokes. The junior finished second in the steeplechase with a time of 9:03.72. Sigle was followed by teammate Chris McWatters, who finished third with a time of 9:13.64.
Sophomore Jason Woolhouse earned a sixth-place finish in the 1500 meter run with a time of 3:47.15. Ewen North, a junior from Shropshire, England, placed fourth in the 3000 meter run, recording a time of 8:27.73.
Three Cowboys placed third in their respective "B" heats. Sophomore Matt Thomson recorded a time of 1:51.92 in the 800 meter run. Ben Lake earned a time of 3:55.88 in the 1500 meter run. Ben Morales finished with a time of 8:47.92 in the 3000 meter run.
The Pokes will compete in the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif., on April 18-20.
