Cowgirl Track Competes In Houston Over Spring Break

HOUSTON, Texas - Oklahoma State's women's outdoor track and field team combined spring break activities with competition at the Texas Southern Relays in Houston, Texas on March 23.
Stephani Duff returned from a hamstring injury to finish second in the long jump with a leap of 18 feet, eight inches. Paula Ogunbanjo was third with a distance of 18-05.75, while Melissa Ndibilo moved from eighth to fifth with her final jump.
Ogunbanjo doubled up in the triple jump where she took seventh place and was followed by teammate Maria Berggren who took eighth.
Alison Erzinger ran the 100-meter hurdles and finished 10th with a time of one minute, 5.39 seconds.
"These performances were not bad considering all we have been doing is power and endurance training," assistant coach Kim Whitaker.
The Cowgirls will next be competing at the UTA Invitational in Arlington, Texas on March 30-31.
