OSU Golf Finishes 11th at Las Vegas Collegiate

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Oklahoma State's fifth-ranked men's golf team shot its second consecutive 297 during the final round of the Las Vegas Collegiate at the Southern Highlands Golf Club on Sunday to finish in 11th place with a team score of 894.
The Cowboys' 30-over-par total came in two shots behind Ohio State and 50 strokes behind tournament winner Georgia Tech, who finished with a 20-under team score of 844.
In the individual race, sophomore Hunter Mahan led OSU with a 27th-place finish after carding a final-round 76 to finish with a three-over-par 219 total.
Senior Anders Hultman carded his second consecutive 73 to finish tied for 39th at six-over-par, while freshman Alex Nor?n finished tied for 45th after recording a one-under 71 on Sunday, giving him a three-day total of 225.
Sophomore P?r Nilsson finished with a 14-over-total of 230 after carding a 79 to tie with three other players for 61st place.
J.C. DeLeon rounded out the Cowboy lineup, coming in with a 77 to give the junior a 240 total for the tournament.
OSU will return to action on March 25 at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate in Austin, Texas.
