Oklahoma State's Skyler Holman has been named the Big 12 Wrestler of the Week, announced by the conference office Monday.
The Broken Arrow, Okla., native defeated ninth-ranked Jason Powell of Nebraska last weekend, 7-4, helping the Cowboys to a 24-12 victory over the Huskers in Lincoln.
The seventh-ranked junior transfer now has an eight-match win streak including wins over top-10 opponents (#5) Matt Ridings and (#9) Powell.
OSU closed out the regular season winning its last seven duals and remained perfect in conference action at 5-0.
The Cowboys will return to action on March 9 as they travel to Norman, Okla., to compete in the Big 12 Championships.
