Cowboys Arrive in Houston

Less than one week from a December 27 meeting against Southern Miss in the 2002 Houston Bowl, Oklahoma State's football official party arrived in Houston Saturday afternoon.
The Cowboys were scheduled to go through their first Houston workout Saturday night in the Astrodome.
OSU's early week workout schedule includes practices Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at the practice home of the NFL's Houston Texans. Wednesday the Pokes will move back to the Astrodome before going on the Reliant Stadium turf for the first time on Thursday.
Oklahoma State, 7-5 on the season, will face a Southern Miss team with an indentical record.
The Cowboys are making their first bowl appearance since 1997 when they faced Purdue in the Alamo Bowl.
