A pair of Oklahoma State players have earned player of the week honors for their efforts in the Cowboys' 38-28 win over Oklahoma on Saturday.
Wide Receiver Rashaun Woods and linebacker Paul Duren have been named SBC Big 12 Conference Players of the Week in a vote by a select panel of media covering Big 12 football.
Woods had a career day against the Sooners and added to his record-busting numbers of 2002. He hauled in 12 catches for 226 yards, both career highs. He also caught three touchdown passes against Oklahoma, the longest a 60-yard strike from quarterback Josh Fields.
On the defensive side, Duren had one of his best days in an Oklahoma State uniform. The redshirt freshman was credited with nine unassisted tackles and two assists. He also had one sack for minus 11 yards.
Woods and Duren are the third and fourth Oklahoma State players to win league player of the week honors in 2002. Defensive tackle Kevin Williams was honored after OSU's win over Nebraska and quarterback Josh Fields earned the award after a record-setting performance against Kansas.
