Oklahoma State wide receiver Rashaun Woods added another post season honor Thursday night when he was introduced as part of the 2002 Walter Camp All-America Team.
Woods was one of 26 Walter Camp All-Americans to be introduced as part of ESPN's College Football Awards Show from Orlando, Florida.
Woods and Michigan State's Charles Rogers were the two receivers named to the elite team. It was the fourth All-America squad to feature Woods. OSU's record-setting pass catcher has also been named to the Sporting News, College Football News and CNN-SI All-America units.
The junior from Oklahoma City had a phenomenal regular season for the Cowboys. In 12 games he caught 98 passes for 1,521 yards and 16 touchdowns. His 16 touchdowns leads the country. All three numbers represent single-season Oklahoma State receiving records.
Woods, a consensus All-Big 12 selection, had at least six receptions in every regular season game in 2002. He had 100 or more receiving yards in eight of OSU's 12 regular season games.
In OSU's 38-28 win over Oklahoma in the regular season finale, Woods had a career-high 12 catches for 226 yards and three touchdowns.
Woods and the rest of the Cowboys are set to begin bowl practice this weekend. The Cowboys will stage workouts Saturday and Sunday and practice Monday through Thursday of next week before leaving for Houston on Dec. 21.
OSU will face Southern Miss on Dec. 27 in the 2002 Houston Bowl.
