Cowboy Wrestling to Compete in Kaufman-Brand Open

Oklahoma State's wrestling team travels to Omaha, Neb., on Nov. 23 to compete in the Kaufman-Brand Open.
Over 600 athletes will be in attendance in the one-day tournament, making it the largest single-day tournament in the nation.
The top-ranked Cowboys, second-ranked Iowa and third-ranked Minnesota will be among the 30 teams competing.
OSU boasts one of the strongest teams in the nation as nine of its wrestlers are ranked in the top 15 by Intermat. Leading the way is top-ranked National Champion Johnny Thompson, while two-time All-Americans Shane Roller and Tyrone Lewis are ranked No. 2 at 157 and 165 pounds, respectively.
The tournament is slated to start at 9 a.m. at the Sapp Fieldhouse.
