Karsten Creek Set to Host Ping/Golfweek Preview

STILLWATER, Okla. - Karsten Creek, home to the Oklahoma State Cowboy Golf program, will host its third collegiate tournament since opening in 1994 when the 14th annual Ping/Golfweek Preview gets underway on Monday.
OSU has won the event twice, coming away victorious in the inaugural tournament in 1989 and again in 1998.
The tournament, which will include the top 12 teams in Golfweek's preseason rankings, is comprised of 15 teams and will get underway with 36 holes on Monday and conclude with Tuesday's final round.
Action is slated to begin at 8 a.m. both days with a shotgun start on Monday.
In addition to the Preview, Karsten Creek hosted the Karsten Creek Collegiate in 1996, the 2001 NCAA Central Regional and will host the 2003 NCAA Championship on May 27-30. The Tom Fazio layout is a par-72 and will play 7,290 yards for the Preview.
The tournament field consists of Arizona, Auburn, Augusta State, Clemson, Florida, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, North Carolina State, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Southern California, Texas, TCU, Wake Forest and Washington.
