Of note: The Nov. 9 OSU-Texas Tech game will not be televised and will be played at 1 p.m. in Lubbock.
Head Coach Les Miles
On Texas A&M
"Their offense is similar but they are happier with throwing the ball and more concerned with moving the ball through the air. I'm certain that they will want to rush the football and I'm also sure that they will look at an opportunity to win in any way that they can see fit."
On what OSU needs to do to beat A&M
"We need to play well against A&M and put a good performance together against a good football team. We are going to concentrate on putting everything toward beating A&M and this is our focus. "
On A&M's offensive strengths
"They have a great return guy, their tight end is very dangerous and makes good plays. The implementation of their offense is different but I don't really see a difference in their plays. Their offensive plays are mixed now and this has helped their offense.
On running the ball
"Just because we had success running the ball against Nebraska doesn't mean we will have success against A&M. The match up is totally different and we enjoy the idea that we will run the ball. Our ideal mix is 50/50 (plays running/passing) and 200/200 (yards rushing/passing)."
On the Nebraska vs. Texas A&M game
"The two teams didn't really match up, Nebraska has three different options and four different quarterback carries and throws the ball to the fullback, the tailback and they put three different backs in the back field. Nebraska's offense is different from ours. Jamaal Lord will not carry the ball for Oklahoma State so we will attack A&M differently. Nebraska really stepped up. They just kept fighting back and I saw some great throws."
Greg Richmond
On A&M's offense
"They are a very good, balanced offense. They can pass and they can run. We have a challenge this weekend. They have a lot of great athletes. Their receiving core has a lot of great athletes, their running backs run hard and their offensive line stays on you until the whistle blows. "
On A&M's offensive improvement
"They are doing the same things, they are just doing them better. They're more fundamentally sound and they are executing better on offense."
On confidence coming off of the Nebraska win
"I think a team is always supposed to have confidence in itself. I feel that it gets our team more pumped up to know that we can go out and beat them too if we execute and do what we are coached to do. We just have to come out and fight and do what we are coached to do."
On proving themselves
"This is another opportunity to show people that we have a good football team. We have to come out this weekend in front of our home crowd and fight as hard as we can and the scoreboard will take care of itself. "
On the Nebraska win
"It got everyone's mindset focused on what we can accomplish. One of our goals is to be a bowl team. Another goal is to get the winning back in Stillwater and that is the thing that we are going to do."
Billy Bajema
On Homecoming
"Homecoming is a blast throughout campus because everybody is excited. We get to go out and look at all the things that sororities and fraternities do. It is a cool atmosphere and it is a lot of fun."
On Comparing Nebraska's Defense to Texas A&M's
"Nebraska had a great defense and Texas A&M will come in with the same type of defense. We know we are up against a tough opponent. We feel if we have a good week and get our offense ready to go we can do some good things."
On Importance of the Texas A&M Game
"We are playing a good team and to go to a bowl and do the things that we want to do we have to come out two weeks in a row and play great games. "
Kevin Williams
On Texas A&M's Passing Game
"They have gotten comfortable with their quarterback and they have two good receivers that can catch the ball. Their a lot more comfortable throwing now."
On Texas A&M's Balance
"With Nebraska you knew that they were going to line up and run it at you and when they threw, it kind of caught you off guard. A&M does a great job of mixing it up."
