Cowgirl Harriers Headed For Big 12 Championships

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Oklahoma State's women's cross country team will compete in the Big 12 Championships cross country meet Sat., Nov. 2, in Columbia, Mo.
The Cowgirl roster boasts an impressive lineup of seniors Marie Nilsson, Valentina Medina, Alexandra Lindquist, Vera Waller, junior Michelle Simecka and sophomores Ami Butler and Sharalee Sparks.
The Cowgirls earned a second-place finish with 75 team points at last year's Big 12 Championships. Nilsson, Medina and Lindquist will have a chance to improve on their 12th, 13th and 31st-place finishes from a year ago.
"This might be the last time that these senior runners will compete for OSU, and I hope that they give it their all and go out on a good note" head coach Catrina Acosta said.
