* Oklahoma State defeated Nebraska for the first time since 1961, a span of 36 games. OSU snapped a 24-game losing streak to the Huskers (teams tied in 1973).
* Oklahoma State's 387 yards of total offense was the school's most against Nebraska since racking up 455 yards in 1988.
* Tailback Tatum Bell ran for a career high 182 yards on 33 carries. He went over the century mark in rushing yards for the third time in his career. It is the second individual 100-yard rushing game for the Cowboys this season (Vernand Morency ran for 108 yards against Louisiana Tech in the season opener). Bell's 182 yards was the most for an OSU player since Reggie White ran for 187 against Tulsa in 2000.
* Rashaun Woods (11 catches, 134 yards, 1 TD today) has now caught two or more passes in 25 straight games. Woods went over the 100-yard receiving mark for the fourth time this season and ninth time in his career. He caught his seventh touchdown of the year and 17th of his career.
* Woods' season numbers are 57 receptions (4th best single season) for 810 yards (7th best single season) and seven touchdowns (T-4th best single season). His career numbers are 166 catches for 2,162 yards, both second all-time to Hart Lee Dykes (203 rec., 3,172 yards).
* Quarterback Josh Fields has thrown a touchdown pass in nine consecutive games dating back to last season. He has 13 touchdown passes this year, sixth best in school history and most in a season since Mike Gundy threw 14 in 1989.
* Luke Phillips 45-yard field goal in the second quarter was his second longest of the season. He kicked a 46-yarder against SMU earlier this year.
* T.D. Bryant's streak of consecutive games with a catch ended at 17 games.
* Wide receiver John Wohlgemuth and defensive back Vernon Grant both made their first career starts.
* Oklahoma State fans tore down the goalposts for the first time since defeating Oklahoma 46-26 on October 24, 1998.
