Doud Named Big 12 Defensive Player Of The Week

DALLAS, Texas - Oklahoma State's goalkeeper Kat Doud was named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.
The Plano, Texas, native opened Big 12 play with a pair of shutouts, upping her season total to five in wins over Texas Tech and Baylor. The senior now has a school-record 14 career shutouts.
Doud has given up just three goals this year in 843 minutes and has not surrendered a goal since the Arkansas contest on Sept. 15. She leads the Big 12 and is fifth in the nation with a 0.32 goals-against average.
The Cowgirls (10-0) will return to action on Friday at 4 p.m., heading north for their first Big 12 road game at Iowa State. Oklahoma State returns to Stillwater for a non-conference match-up against East Central on Monday, Oct. 7
