Cowgirls Set To Compete in Red Raider Classic

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's track and field team will compete in the Red Raider Classic in Lubbock, Texas at the Texas Tech University Athletic Center on Jan. 25-26.
The Cowgirls are competing in their biggest meet of the winter thus far by sending 16 girls to compete. Four of the scheduled competitors are coming off a successful trip to Colorado. Senior Stephani Duff, freshman Alison Erzinger and freshman Maria Berggren all won their respective events.
Duff won the long jump with a distance of 18'5." She will be competing in the 200 meter dash in Lubbock.
Erzinger won the 400 meter dash with a time of 59.14 and is slated to compete in that event again plus the distance medley run this weekend.
Berggren won the triple jump with a distance of 38'3.5." She will be adding the long jump to her repertoire this weekend.
The Cowgirls will split their squad the following weekend between the Adidas Invitational in Lincoln, Neb., and the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. on Feb. 1-2.
