OSU Soccer Shut Out By Oral Roberts 1-0

EDMOND, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's soccer team dropped its second consecutive one-goal decision on Sunday afternoon, losing to Oral Roberts in the final game of the AT&T Wireless Soccer Challenge at the Edmond Soccer Complex.
With the loss, OSU fell to 4-3-0, while the Golden Eagles rose to 2-4-0.
The Cowgirls controlled the tempo and held the ball in ORU's half of the field for the majority of the game. However, they were unable to convert on any of their 17 shot attempts against a stiff Golden Eagle defense.
Despite being outshot 10-4 in the first half, ORU managed to break through the OSU defense at the 25:25 mark. Midfielder Kris Bramlett fed forward Meghan Mitchell, who snuck a shot inside the right post to provide the game's only score.
The Cowgirls also held a 7-0 advantage in corner kicks by the end of the contest.
Three OSU players, Marcela Nova, Myszka Paprocki and Jolene Schweitzer, were named to the all-tournament squad.
The Cowgirls will open up the Big 12 portion of its schedule this Friday at 7 p.m. when they travel to Columbia, Mo., to take on the Missouri Tigers.
