OSU Soccer Defeats Drury 4-0

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's soccer team recorded its first shutout of the season Sunday afternoon at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex , defeating Drury University 4-0 before 705 fans.
In the game's eighth minute, sophomore Kim Graves netted the first goal on a double assist from Cowgirl freshmen Jolene Schweitzer and Courtney Robb.
With the first period winding down, freshman Krista Dedmon added a goal to make the score 2-0 and give the Cowgirls a 2-0 cushion heading into intermission. The goal was the first of the Chickasha, Okla., native's career.
Kim Graves found the goal once again at the 85:50 mark on Robb's second assist of the game. The goal was Graves third of the season and gave the Tulsa, Okla., native her first career multi-goal game.
With two minutes remaining in regulation, Dedmon found the back of the net with her second goal of the game to give OSU a commanding 4-0 lead.
Oklahoma State (2-0) outshot the opposition for the second consecutive game, recording a 22-6 margin over the Panthers.
The Cowgirls will hit the road this week, facing Northern Iowa on Friday and Creighton on Sunday. They return to the Cowgirl Soccer Complex on the 14th to face Northwestern State.
