OSU Soccer Blanks Southwest Missouri State 4-0

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's soccer team rode three first-half goals en route to a 4-0 victory over Southwest Missouri State on Tuesday night before 691 fans at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex.
With the win, the Cowgirls improved to 4-1-0 and matched their win total from a year ago. For the Bears, the loss was their first of the season and dropped them to 3-1-1.
Senior defender Myszka Paprocki broke the stalemate with her first career goal after heading in a corner kick from freshman Nikki Wojtowicz.
Carla Dolomont was the second Cowgirl to strike on the evening. The freshman lofted a 25-yard shot over SMS goalkeeper Alexis Stormo in the games 37th minute for her second goal of the year and pushed the OSU lead to 2-0.
Sophomore Joanne Edwards notched her first goal of the season off of freshman Courtney Robb's second assist of the game, giving the Cowgirls a three-goal advantage at the intermission.
OSU struck early in the second half as freshman Jolene Schweitzer buried her third goal of the season in the contest's 48th minute to put the game out of reach and provide the final margin.
Goalkeeper Kat Doud recorded her third shutout of the season, playing the full 90 minutes in net and stopping seven shots.
Oklahoma State returns to action on Friday at 8 p.m. when they travel to Edmond to battle the University of Tulsa.
