Cowgirl Cross Country Now Prepares for the Jamboree

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's cross country team was scheduled to compete in Lincoln, Neb. on Saturday, but was given the weekend off with the rest of the conference.

The Cowgirls now have two weeks to get ready for the Cowboy Jamboree, which will bring in quality competition. Georgetown University has agreed to take part in this year's event. Georgetown is ranked eleventh by the most recent national poll and will be the strongest competition the Cowgirls will have seen this year.

The Cowgirls will also see Oklahoma, Baylor and Texas Tech from the Big 12 Conference.
