Cowboy Baseball To Open Fall Practice Wednesday

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State baseball will open its 2001 fall practice season Wednesday afternoon at Reynolds Stadium.
The Cowboys will have four weeks of practices that will include intrasquad scrimmages every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Head coach Tom Holliday has seven returning position starters and seven pitchers who saw significant action on last year's NCAA tournament team.
"We will go into the fall season looking to solidify our catching situation as well as identifying players to replace Jimbo McAuliff and Luke Scott," stated the sixth-year head coach.
"On the pitching side we will look to reshape the bullpen and define the roles of last year's returners. Another point of emphasis will be the continued development of Shane Hawk, Joe Weaver, Jimmy Rhodes and Daniel Rew into starting pitchers," Holliday said.
The following is the anticipated scrimmage times for the next four weeks.
