Wells and Alfheim to Compete Against the Best

STILLWATER, Okla. - Sara Wells and Siri Alfheim have been accepted to compete in the NCAA Championships slated to begin May 30 in Eugene, Ore.
Wells will compete in the 10,000-meter run. She qualified with a time of 33:46.79, which is the sixth best time in the nation this year. A top eight finish will enable her to retain her All-America status, and a top two finish will Make her eligible for the World University Games in Beijing in August.
Alfheim will be running in the 5,000-meter run. Her time of !6:14.69, which she ran in the Cardinal Qualifier on May 13, is the 22nd best time in the nation this year.
Alexandra Lindquist also qualified in the 1,500-meter run but was not invited to compete due to the highly competitive field.
This is the Cowgirls last event of the spring until cross country begins in the fall.
