Cowboy Baseball Travels To Lincoln For Weekend Series

THIS WEEK
Oklahoma State travels to Lincoln, Neb. this weekend for a three-game,
Big 12 set with Nebraska. First pitch for Friday's game will be 6:30 p.m.
Saturday's game will begin at 2:05 p.m., while Sunday's game is scheduled
for a 1:00 p.m. tilt.
SCOUTING THE HUSKERS
Top-ranked Nebraska enters the series with a 35-12 record despite having
lost five of their last six games, including losing two-of-three games to
Texas A&M last weekend.
Dan Johnson leads the Huskers offensively, hitting at a .377 clip with 56 RBIs. His 17 home runs lead the Big 12, and he is ranked seventh nationally in home runs per game.
Oklahoma State leads the all-time series with the Huskers 102-54. Last year, the Cowboys won the series with Nebraska in Stillwater, but the Huskers defeated OSU in a Big 12 tournament elimination game.
PROBABLES ON THE MOUND
Sophomore Mike Miller will get his third starting nod Friday night for
the Cowboys. He has a 1-1 record on the year and a 4.78 ERA on the season.
Oklahoma State will send southpaw Josh Merrigan to the mound for Saturday's game. Merrigan, a Vermillion, S.D. native, owns a 6-4 record on the season with a 4.44 ERA. He has struck out 69 batters in 75.0 innings pitched while walking 29.
Sunday's starter has yet to be determined.
