Cowboys Finish Day Two of Central Regional in Seventh Place

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's men's golf team enters the final round of play at the NCAA Central Regional in sole possession of seventh place after carding a 301 during Friday's second round at Karsten Creek in Stillwater.
The Cowboys two-day total of 593 is three strokes behind sixth-place Purdue and 15 shots behind the tournament's leader, the College of Charleston.
OSU's lowest individual total through 36 holes is a one-over-par score of 145 posted by freshman P?r Nilsson. The All-Big 12 performer shot a 72 on Friday to finish play in a tie for 13th.
Fellow freshman Matt McQuillan carded a six-over-par 78 to slip to four-over for the tournament and into a tie for 32nd while Boyd Summerhays is third on the Cowboy chart with a two-round total of 149. The sophomore will enter tomorrow's final round in a tie for 40th after shooting a 74 on Friday.
All-American Anders Hultman turned in a 77 on the day to stand in a tie for 66th in the field with a total of 151.
Sophomore J.C. DeLeon rounds out the Cowboy lineup with a 14-over-par total of 158 for the tournament.
OSU will begin its final round tomorrow morning at 7:57 on the No. 1 tee.
