Two Cowboys Named to All-Conference Golf Team

DALLAS - A pair of Oklahoma State golfers were named to the 2001 All-Big 12 Men's Golf Team voted on by the league's head coaches and released by the conference office on Monday.
Cowboy junior Anders Hultman was named the Big 12 Player of the Year and was selected to the all-conference squad for the third consecutive year. Joining Hultman on this year's team is freshman P?r Nilsson.
Hultman's 71.32 stroke average currently leads the conference and he has a pair of victories to his credit this year. In November, he set a school scoring record for a 54-hole event with a 195, 21-under-par, total at the Palmetto Dunes Collegiate Invitational en route to picking up his first career victory.
The Gothenburg, Sweden native also posted a win at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational and has finished in the top five at two other tournaments this year.
Nilsson has competed in all 10 of OSU's events this year and is currently averaging 72.82 strokes per round. His best finish came last week at the Big 12 Championship where he tied for second place.
On the season, the Ljungsbro, Sweden native has three top-ten finishes this season and was one of two freshman to make the the 10-man all-conference squad.
