Cowgirls Qualify Two for Nationals

Philadelphia, Pa. - Oklahoma State's women's track and field team was represented well over the weekend at the Penn Relays.
Siri Alfheim and Sara Wells came away with two top ten finishes and both ran a provisional qualifying time for nationals in the 5,000-meter run.
Siri Alfheim posted a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 16:22.50 in the 5,000-meter, finishing second behind Jolene Williams of South Florida.
All-American Sara Wells also posted a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 16:30.60 placing her eighth in the field. She is now eligible to run in both the 5,000-meter and 10,000-meter at the NCAA Championships in June.
The Cowgirls return to action on May 5 at the UTA All Comers Meet in Arlington, Texas, in preparation for the Big 12 Championships May 17-20 in College Station, Texas.
