Cowboy Track Finish Well After Two Days

STILLWATER, Okla. --- After two days of events, the Oklahoma State men's track team fares well by placing in the top-10 in four events.
Junior Vasquez finished the 10,000-meter run at the Penn Relays with a time of 29:58.27. Also competing in the 10K was Johan Bergstrom. He finished 24th with a time of 30:56.81.
Bjorn Bergstrom ran the 5,000-meter run at the Penn Relays this week. He placed 10th with a time of 14:04.61. Jerry Rainey's 5K time was 15:08.05, giving him 27th place.
In the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Chris McWatters placed 17th at the Penn Relays with a time of 9:23.17. The distance medley relay team that consists of Cam Katchuk, Ben Lake, Matt Thomson and Trey Vernon, placed fifth. The relay team's time was 9:52.14.
At the Drake Relays, Jason Woolhouse's time of 31:12.05 gave him a ninth-place finish. Ben Sigle ran the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:24.44. This time gave him 13th-place.
The Cowboys compete until Saturday at the Drake Relays and Penn Relays and will compete on Saturday at the Sooner Invitational.
