Cowboy Track to Compete in Three Meets this Week

Competing at the Drake Relays is Ben Sigle and Jason Woolhouse. Sigle will participate in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, while Woolhouse will run in the 10,000-meter race.
OSU's men's basketball Melvin Sanders will also participate in the long jump and triple jump at the Drake Relays this week. Sanders has been the only competitor in field events for OSU this year.
The Poke's track team will also have members traveling to the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa. The Cowboys will compete for the first time this year in the distance medley relay with Daniel Voegeli, Cam Katchuk, Matt Thomson and Ben Lake.
Bjorn Bergstrom and Jerry Rainey will run in the 5,000-meter run at the Penn Relays, while Junior Vasquez and Johan Bergstrom will compete in the 10,000-meter run. Chris McWatters will participate in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
Three members of the team will also travel to the Sooner Invitational. Kevin Connolly, Jon Cordes, and Scott Rantall will all compete in the 3,000-meter run at Norman on Saturday.
The next scheduled meet for the Pokes is April 26-28 at the Cardinal Relays in Palo Alto, Calif.
