Cowgirls Return from California

Walnut, Cali. - Marie Nilsson and Alexandra Lindquist competed in a pair of meets over the weekend. They represented the Oklahoma State women's track team in the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational on Friday and the Mt. SAC Relays on Saturday.
Lindquist finished ninth in the 800-meter with a time of 2:12.06. On Saturday she competed in the 1,500-meter and posted a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 4:23.20.
Marie Nilsson competed in the same events. In the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational on Friday, she posted a mark of 2:16.11 in the 800-meter. In the 1,500 she posted a time of 4:38.12.
The rest of the Cowgirl team will have their pick between two meets on their schedule. They will use the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, PA and the Drake Relays in Des Moines, IA as a tune up for the Big 12 Championships in May.
