Cowboys Travel to Joplin for the Crossroads Invitational

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Members of Oklahoma State's men's track will travel to Joplin, Missouri, this weekend to compete in the Radio Shack Crossroads Invitational. The team, however, will be without runners Junior Vasquez and Bjorn Bergstrom.
As the Cowboy team heads to Missouri, Vasquez and Bergstrom will travel to Stanford, Calif., for the Stanford Invitational.
The Crossroads Invitational will be held on Friday, March 30 at the Fred G. Hughes Stadium at Missouri Southern State College. The field events will begin at 1:00 on Friday afternoon and the running events will begin at 2:30.
The Stanford Invitational will be held at the Cobb Track and Angell Field in Stanford. The events are scheduled to begin at noon on Saturday, March 31 and 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 1.
Junior Vasquez will participate in the 10,000-meter run, while Bjorn Bergstrom will compete in the 5,000-meter run. Matt Hart will go as an alternate in the 10,000-meter run.
After this weekend, the Cowboys will travel to Lincoln, Neb., for the Husker Open on April 7.
