Cowboy Football Takes To The Road For Scrimmage

STILLWATER, Okla. -
Oklahoma State takes its spring football workouts on the road this weekend as the Cowboys stage a major scrimmage at Taft Stadium in Oklahoma City. The scrimmage is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at approximately 1 p.m. The public is invited to the scrimmage, free of charge.
It will be a full day for OSU in Oklahoma City. Saturday morning, Oklahoma State coaches will offer a football clinic to youngsters in the area. The clinic is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. with registration at 9:30 a.m. The clinic is open to youngsters in the eighth grade and younger.

Saturday's event is OSU's first major scrimmage of the spring and is the first of three straight for the Cowboys. OSU will stage its second major scrimmage in Stillwater on April 7 and will conclude spring drills with a scrimmage of Saturday, April 14.
The April 7 scrimmage is one of the events that highlights Hall of Honors weekend in Stillwater. The April 14 scrimmage not only marks the end of spring drills, it culminates a weekend of activity around the OSU Coaches Clinic.
