Cowboys to Compete in Oklahoma Open

Other teams that will battle in the all day tournament include: the University of Central Oklahoma, Air Force and Oklahoma.
"This is a great tournament to gain experience," said assistant coach Mark Branch. "It gives us the opportunity to compare the talent of our young kids, while getting a good look at the competition."
The Cowboys will be sending all their newcomers along with a couple familiar faces to the open. With No. 1 ranked Minnesota next week, the team is trying to keep its starters healthy and allow them to get more coaching time in the wrestling room.
"It's great when you have this much depth, that you can send your reserves and still have them compete at a starting level." said Branch.
