Two other Cowboys ran the 10K race . Sophomore Chris McWatters and freshman Ewen North finished 222th and 234th respectively.
This wraps up a successful 2001 campaign for Oklahoma State. The Cowboys overcame adversity this season when they lost three out of their top five runners to injury. Sophomore Jason Woolhouse also overcame a broken collarbone to become an all-conference performer. The Cowboys started off the year by winning the Wichita Gold Classic and never finished below fourth in the regular season. OSU had an impressive post season finishing second in the Big 12 championship and the Midwest regional.
