Cowboys Place Six Wrestlers at Central Missouri Open

Oklahoma State's wrestling team placed six wrestlers last weekend at the Central Missouri Open in Warrensburg, Mo.
Sophomore Chris Pendleton avenged a loss from this summer to Tyler Nixt from Iowa by defeating him to win the 174 pound weight class.
Freshman Derek Stevens placed second at 125 pounds, while redshirt freshman Kevin Ward placed fourth at 149 pounds.
Junior Chad Reid (174), senior Jake Rosholt (184), and redshirt freshman Rusty Blackmon (197) all finished in third.
The Cowboys will open its regular season this weekend as they travel to Tulsa, Okla., for the Cliff Keen Open on Saturday.
OSU will open its home schedule on Sunday against the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga at noon and Embry-Riddle at 2 p.m.
