Head Coach Les Miles
On the defense
"There is not any question that the defensive coaches and players are concerned with how we got to where we are. We are going to win and lose this thing as a team. There are many ways that the offense could have gone onto the field and quickly tied it up. There will be some adjustments that will be made on defense that Coach (Bill) Clay and the other coaches are looking at to enhance our opportunity to stop people. We will look at some different players, but the defensive scheme will stay the same."
On the losing streak
"It is painful for all of us and it makes it difficult to do anything when it comes to football. They are good kids, they have character and want to play. I think they are holding up and we will get through this."
On playing a Colorado team coming off of a big loss
"Colorado is very talented. This will be a challenge for us. We will play them hard, but we are not concerned with what they did in their last game."
On the positives from this team
"Our special teams have been real strong all year. Elder went in there and out punted a nationally ranked punter. There are some positives in the special teams. The offense is moving the ball better through the air and understanding some of the things that they have to do. We are also better in third downs."
On TD Bryant
"Rashaun (Woods) has been getting a lot of coverage. They pressed us early and that is what happened on Bryant?s reception down to the five. They put a safety in the middle and singled up on the wide-outs to take away the quick throws to Woods. This allowed us to do other things. You will find you can move the ball to a variety of areas and it will make the defense more concerned in how they are going to cover you."
Terrence Robinson
On the attitude of the team
"There is a lot of people that are upset with what the schedule looks like now, coming into this season we all expected to be six and one, it?s tough for us all, but the most important thing is we have to keep our heads up and stay positive about everything and good things will come."
On Missouri Game having a lingering effect
"The Missouri game has had a huge effect on us, and not only the Missouri game , but all the games we?ve lost this year have had a huge effect on this team."
On team improving week to week
"There is a lot of improvement in the different positions. It?s so easy to hang your head after you lose. Some of us leaders have to go to those guys that are hanging their head and tell them to keep your head up and show them you have to work hard to overcome adversity."
On the talent gap in Big 12
"I don't think there is a huge talent difference in the Big 12. I think some teams want it more than others. In this conference you have to play strong week in and week out, because anything is possible come Saturday.
On importance of quick start against Colorado
"It is extremely important, some heads are down we have to pick our heads up. This week in practice we have to keep everything positive and come out and play strong and solid Oklahoma State football."
On being behind in the football game
"You have to overcome those things. That is what were learning as a team, just to overcome adversity. Once we get to that stage we will be successful in the future."
