STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's track & field team will make its second season appearance tomorrow at the KSU Invitational in Manhattan, Kan., at Ahearn Field House.
OSU is one of six teams that will compete in this weekend's meet. OSU, Nebraska and Kansas State will represent the Big 12 Conference. Emporia State, Nebraska-Omaha and Wyoming are the remaining three competing schools. Kansas State and Nebraska are ranked seventh and 15th in the Trackwire national rankings, respectively.
The women's portion of the meet will start at 4:00 p.m. on Friday and will conclude with the 8:00 p.m. 1600-meter relay.
Sixteen members of the Cowgirl track & field team will participate in the meet. OSU has recently added several mid-season newcomers to its rosters. These girls, who have come to Stillwater from various other countries, will not compete in tomorrow's meet.
Following the KSU Invitational, the Cowgirls will compete in the Jan. 20 OU Invitational in Norman, Okla.
