Cowgirls Soccer Drop To TCU in Overtime

Oklahoma State's soccer team saw its two-game winning streak come to an end with a 3-2 loss in overtime to the TCU Horned Frogs on Sunday afternoon at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex.
The Cowgirls (3-3) erased a two-goal deficit in the second half with goals from freshman Kim Graves and senior Mercy Morrical to push OSU into its first overtime game since the season finale in 1998.
TCU's Sherry Dick scored the game winner in the contest's 111th minute, slipping a shot past the outstretched hands of Cowgirl goalkeeper Laurel Catlett-King and just inside the post to seal the victory.
TCU (4-2-1) jumped out to a 1-0 lead with 26:21 remaining in the first half when midfielder Rebecca Repasky caught Cowgirl goalkeeper Katharine Doud out of position to provide the half's only score. The Horned Frogs' Jenn Coulson padded the lead with 7:49 expired in the second half off a feed from Tiffany Goetz.
The Cowgirls cut the margin in half when Graves netted her second goal of the season off a double assist from Morrical and Andi Lute.
In the 64th minute of action, Morrical tied the game with her first goal of the season on a blast over TCU goalkeeper Shannon Wagner from 20 yards out.
The Cowgirls will return to action on Thursday when they travel to El Paso, Texas to take on the University of Texas-El Paso at 7 p.m.
